I see life as an adventure and an experiment. For this simple reason, I am passionate, fearless, I take risks, I make mistakes, I learn, and I go after what I want. For me, life is too short to settle for anything less.
After college I moved to Thailand. Why Thailand? Because I knew absolutely nothing about the country and I embraced that challenge of living in the unknown. A year later I moved to Los Angeles to figure out exactly what I wanted to do in television. After many experiments, I discovered my passion in being a tv presenter. So I was. Years later, having a rather tumultuous relationship with LA through the successes and rejections, I decided to fulfill my dream of living in Spain. So here I am.
My pursuit is a life filled with discovery, inspiration, experiences, nature, health, and building genuine human relationships. Because at the end of the day, hiking through a jungle to stay with an ancient mountain tribe in Thailand, just doesn’t mean as much if you don’t have wonderful people in your life to share it with.
I am learning that personal development is key to building these human relationships. For a relatively young person, I have had quite a variety of experiences in my life. Many of these experiences have lead to personal development through travel, which is why I dedicate a lot of my time to travel writing. What other ways can I help others from my experiences? How can I better myself so that I can give more to others? How can I improve my form of communication so that I can have a better understanding of people, and give them the tools that they need? These questions have pushed me to read, research, write, practice, and teach.
From Los Angeles to Madrid, I have discovered that I really enjoy working with people. Now that I live in Spain, I especially love to help individuals express themselves in their second language of English. It is really rewarding to see my clients gain the confidence to communicate in their unique way true to themselves. Confidence comes from feeling good about ourselves, in mind, body, spirit. This is why I am so passionate about health, nutrition, and overall wellness.
I don’t have it all figured out by any means. But my own personal belief is that our only obligation in this life is to be who we really are and to our highest value, and to communicate in a way that reflects who we are. This gives us the freedom to live in our purpose, which then allows ourselves to give the most that we can to others. And this is a never-ending learning process :).
